As part of the Brown diamonds family Champagne diamonds are consider to be less rare and more affordable compare to other natural coloured diamonds. A Champagne diamond will most likely appeal to the majority of the public due to their wide spectrum of light Brown color which allows the consumer to choose the darkness of the color according to his/her's preferences. Champagne diamonds consider to be elegant and many celebrities has been spotted wearing them on high profile events. 

Rarity:

As mentioned above Champagne diamonds are very common and much less rare then other color diamonds. A Champagne diamond with no overtone is much rarer then a natural Champagne diamond that has a secondary tint. For example the "Golden Pelican" weighing 69.93 carat Champagne diamond its estimate price is around the $3 Million dollars, the famous "golden Jubilee" weighs 545.67 carats and its estimated price is somewhre between $5-12 million dollars.

Color:

Champagne diamond wide spectrum range of color moves from light to dark Brown and in most cases will carry a secondary color hue such as Orange or Yellow, the richer the hue is the rareness and its value are rising accordingly. As appose to the Argyle mine grading scale the GIA laboratory grades the these type of diamond in different way, GIA won't use the word "Champagne" in their grading report the color might be describe in different terms of Brown.
